I tried to order it, but I realized that I don't have my credit card in my wallet. Haha. I saved it and will do it later. Coincidentally, a friend of mine and I are starting an online magazine by the end of this month. We have it all planned out, but we haven't found a title yet. Haha! How did you do Ink Monkey? Got an good advice for us? We were planning on eventually putting out an anthology on Lulu, but the magazine would be primarily online. Any thoughts or advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
@lily_scarlet - Is "run. screaming." good advice? Seriously, there's a lot of work involved, and there's a whole crapload of details that you'll never expect to have to worry about until they're staring you in the face. Aside from that, I merely wish you luck.
As for Ink Monkey, I used one of lulu's templates, which opens in Word. Aside from that, it's just basic layout. (I should add here, I have a journalism background, so I have had lots of practice with all that stuff...) See what everyone else is doing and use them as a guideline.
@belskaylar - I've heard a lot of sentiment like that from other people. I must say, it totally validates everything I've been doing.
